Coupon Refresh
In 2017, I led the redesign effort of Mitsubishi’s coupons. These coupons appear on all Mitsubishi email and direct mail marketing. The last time the design was updated was in 2014 so a refresh was long overdue.

In total I created about 5 different coupon designs (see below) before finally coming up with this one. Whereas the previous design was mostly text based, the new design features more graphic elements. The new design has a modern feel while being in line with Mitsubishi’s brand aesthetic. It was important to create a design that could be applied to a wide range of offers. With this new design, the background image can be changed to match the individual offer while also maintaining a unified look with all the other coupons.
These are the 5 other designs I created on my way to the final design. When I began the design process, I tried to incorporate elements of the old design. Ultimately, I ended up moving away from those elements altogether and developing an entirely new look.
